The work

Bases, frames and drums

Materials handling equipment is built on large fabricated bases and frames, with mounting faces for slewing rings, gearboxes and motors that must be flat and in the right place relative to one another.

We machine these faces after fabrication on our horizontal borers and double-column machining centre, and turn drums, wheels and hubs on our vertical lathes.
