History
Founded 2001, with roots in 1803
Millbrook was founded in 2001, when the machine shop of Bryan Donkin Co. Limited of Chesterfield and its machinists moved across to form a new company. That team brought with it a way of working whose roots run back to 1803, when Bryan Donkin opened his engineering works in Bermondsey, London: more than 220 years of continuous engineering expertise, and more than 120 of them in Chesterfield.
The shop
The shop is laid out for large work: 10 t and 5 t overhead cranes, CNC horizontal borers with travels to X 3,000 mm, four CNC vertical lathes turning to Ø2,134 mm, double-column and vertical machining centres, a large manual borer and a Faro portable arm for inspection. See the full machine list.

Derby Road, Clay Cross, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S45 9AG, in the East Midlands. Clay Cross is a short drive from junction 29 of the M1. We are open Monday to Thursday, 07:30 to 16:00, and accept deliveries up to 30 minutes before closing.
