Fitting and assembly
Machined parts fitted and assembled into sub-assemblies and complete units, then checked as one, so what arrives at your site is ready to install.

Ready to install
Assembled and checked where it was machined
Parts that are machined in one place and assembled in another can meet for the first time on site. Fitting and assembling them where they were machined means fits, alignment and clearances are proved before dispatch, and any adjustment is made with the machines next door.
Our fitters assemble machined components into sub-assemblies and complete mechanical units: fitting bearings, bushes, shafts and seals, dowelling and bolting mating parts, and checking alignment and clearances against the drawing. Heavy parts are handled with our 10 t and 5 t overhead cranes.
Assemblies are inspected as one unit, using conventional gauges and our Faro portable arm, and shipped ready to install.
